Elka Panther 300 – FOR SALE – $500 (sold)
This was one of the first few organs Darian and I bought and fixed up, and because of space issues in our studio/workshop/dining room, we have decided to sell it. In the past few weeks we have finally finished up a few tasks that we’d wanted to do for ages to make it as good as it can be.

We were relieved to discover that this Combo Compact had been much better maintained than the Compact Deluxe we worked on last month. We were working on it for a friend of ours from DC, who had gotten it from a relative who was a professional musician in the 70s and had taken pretty good care of it. [SOLD] We just put this Nomad Model 61 organ up for sale in our Reverb shop. This organ was made in Japan and is apparently the same as the Teisco Teischord G. This Elka Panther 300 combo organ from the late 1960s was fully serviced by Bell Tone’s combo organ expert Darian, and is actually now for sale in our Reverb shop.
The Panther, also known as the Elka Capri, is unusually richly featured for a single-manual organ. It has a bold yet rich sound, a powerful vibrato and a wide variety of tone filters. This particular organ bears the name Capri, but it is exactly the same as the Elka Panther 300 organ, inside and out. Continue reading “Elka Panther 300”
